cold-rolled steel coil

Commonly used in the steel industry, differentiated from hot rolled coil. It is a steel strip that is rolled directly into a certain thickness with rollers at room temperature and wound into a complete coil with a winder. Compared with hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils have a bright surface and high finish, but they produce more internal stress and are often annealed after cold rolling.

Cold rolled coils are available in a wide range of specifications, the following are some of the common specifications:
Ordinary carbon structural steel coils: common specifications include coils 1.2-14mm thick and 600-2000mm wide.
Low-alloy high-strength structural steel coil: common specifications include 1.2-14mm thick, width of 600-2000mm coil.
Cold rolled silicon steel coils: common specifications include 0.3-1.0mm thick, width 800-1300mm coils.
Stainless steel coils: common specifications include 0.3-6mm thick, width of 1000-2000mm coils.
Galvanized steel coil: common specifications include 0.3-4mm thick, width 800-2000mm coil.
