Color coated steel coil  is a type of steel coil based on cold rolled steel or galvanized sheet, which is manufactured with a chemical conversion treatment such as surface degreasing and phosphating, and coated with an organic coating. These coatings are usually cured by a baking process, resulting in one or more layers of color coating. Color coated steel coils offer a wide selection of colors, good weather resistance, significant aesthetic effects and superior corrosion resistance.

Commonly used in the steel industry, differentiated from hot rolled coil. It is a steel strip that is rolled directly into a certain thickness with rollers at room temperature and wound into a complete coil with a winder. Compared with hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils have a bright surface and high finish, but they produce more internal stress and are often annealed after cold rolling.
